TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

8:30 am: Meet at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo, Portland,Oregon

9:30 am: Depart Gran Turismo for a drive to Grass Valley, Oregon and the new Oregon Raceway
12:00 noon – 1:00pm: Parade laps and no host lunch at the new Oregon Raceway (if you are not joining the group drive, meet at the Oregon Raceway at 12:00 pm)
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Car wash area located at the Sunriver Family Care Center (large white cross on roof) Parking Lot
4:00 pm - 6:30 pm: “Pre-fest” gathering hosted by Club Carerra, Carerra Motors, Bend, Oregon
7:00 pm: Registration and no host Welcome Reception at the Sunriver Resort

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

8:00 am - 10:00 am: Placement of cars on the field at the Meadows Golf Course Driving Range, located behind Sunriver Lodge (may be subject to frost delay)
10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Sunriver Festival of Cars Opens.
Interviews and announcements by Festival Master of Ceremonies Keith Martin, publisher of Sports Car Market magazine.
Music., Voting for the Jay Audia People’s Choice Award – ballots available to all spectators at the Sports Car Market booth (voting closes at 2:00 pm). Food and drink available at Festival Central.
Noon – 1:00 pm: Lunch Break.
1:00 pm: Festival Symphony of Sound. Enjoy the sounds as Keith Martin gets the Festival participants to rev up their engines and become the Festival Orchestra. The best balanced listening point is Festival Central. The best chest-thumping spot is along the cart path behind the cars, but be careful of your ears.
2:00 pm: Festival Parade – gather at Festival Central for the parade of specially selected cars to be driven by the reviewing area for commentary by Keith Martin.
3:00 pm: Sunriver Festival of Cars closes
6:30 pm: No host reception and wine tasting – Sunriver Resort Homestead Hall
7:30 pm: Dinner, Charity Auction and People’s Choice Award Presentation – Sunriver Resort Homestead Hall

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

8:30 am: Meet at Caldera Springs Lake House for a hosted continental breakfast
10:00 am: Sunday Dash – this is a no-gimmick, no way to get lost tour over fantastic scenic roads, ending with a grand finale lunch at the scenic Jeld-Wen Brasada Ranch
